Here I am mooching through your posts - starting this morning with Being a Body part 2 and wondering if I missed part 1. Hmm, probably. Clicked on a link that brought me here. The video in this birth post is inspiring to me. Watching "how" is very helpful. Watching you research, plan, experiment is a reminder to slow (time) down. Then reflect on process and how it shows us who we are. Although I think I rush into my creative makings, there is more of a plan than I realize. Start with a word or phrase and then burst in. Sometimes what I am working on is such a mystery I am not sure what might happen, though the word - space or quiet, or loud, or subterranean - influcences where I go. Now I am in love again with Queen Anne's Lace! Rambling here. Thanks Sarah.

Thank you back Nancy! I really resonate with the word 'subterranean' that you used--yes, that is how the creative process feels so often. Slowing myself down is one of my lifelong journeys as well.

What a wonderful concept. I love the idea of being "all in" with life. It's something we can all apply to our lives, whether we are artists or doing something completely different. I can't wait to read more!
